How many are going?

4 or 5. I'm loosing count.

Having more problems with Yobbo's end of things than anything else for a while, so gave up with the idea of using yobbo for much and went back to focusing on the concept of local data nodes. Simon Knight and I have been bouncing emails back and forth, we don't think the inter AP routing is correct.

Got a number of systems built ready for deployment.

Have done a number of field tests to see what we can do and what our limits are. SK lent me an amp last week that proved some help.

Discovered that I didn't fully understand how Neil configured the DHCP and IPTables, so am currently trying to learn more about that (LARTC is a hell useful list). Not easy when Neils stuff is really tight but he's off on holiday.

Discovered that DSE have stopped supplying the RA2570 nics, so got the last 3 to tie me over until I get the new ones from CDL running.

Got 1 of the new nics from CDL for testing - which came with a debian ko file already, thou I don't know what kernel it's built for yet because I haven't had a chance to install it.

Built 4 more poll antennas to start pilot testing with people around any one of the first 3 live node sites that I have now secured.

Installed one system, but still sorting out the firewall to nat correctly.

Installed antenna on a second site ready for the node installation but family matters have meant that I had to tie ho.

I've been bouncing emails back and forth with the dnsmasq writter to see if there's a way to unblock/block mac access based on a bunch of paramters stored in a database when the ip address is assigned...

I've been researching how to use IP tables to nat/masq based on same params. I can do it using the wizards and gui stuff, but I need to be able to understand the tables properly.

However this is all really off topic, so I'm not sure why you're asking as it's not really nix related other than all the issues with the software platform.

Cheers Don
