Surely your 20 years of IT experience should have been of some use in 
determining which file to download?  There are actually only four files- 
the 'fifth' one is a link to the parent directory.  Of those four files two 
are md5sum files (which I am sure you know what to do with), which leaves 
two.  One of those is version 3.4.3 from February (the version number is 
cunningly hidden in the filename itself) and the other is version 6.0 from, 
er, 9 days ago.  That's probably the one you want.

Assuming of course that somebody wants to.  As far as I can see you have 
had nothing but help, advice, suggestions and support.  Rather than listen 
to this you seem to go off on your own, get stuck, and complain.

WRT getting a Mepis disc, I did say I had one, and so did Rob.  You never 
asked for one of us to deliver it to you.  You did say "Back on track....  
lets whirl this live cd.", but that was a bit cryptic.  I still have the 
ISO, and I still have the disc that I burned.  Do you want it?
