True. Remind me next time. From this email onwards I will no longer attempt to
aid your business ventures for free.

Yes it did evolve, didn't it, like a lot of threads in this group. I was
responding to the points raised by that.

That's your view. Fixing your mail configuration would probably be a simpler
and more correct solution. Maybe that includes upgrading your servce provider.
Whichever way you choose, I strongly disagree with your statements about Xtra,
and feel that other readers of this group should hear the other side of the
argument. Xtra's cock-ups on clients attempting to read their emails after the
Yahoo!!! takeover are another topic entirely, although I personally side with
view that the techie stuff was done fine, just the PR and communication being a
complete farce.

Like I said, my mail server, which is next to me on the end of an ADSL line,
has no ( known! ) problems sending and receiving emails to/from all domains
that I've tried. xtra is fine, that's for certain. The most important part (
unfortunately snipped from the email I'm replying to ) is that you route your
outgoing emails through the smart server provided by your service provider ( in
the case of sp's like godaddy, just finding it is a mammoth task! ); and, less
important, finding a SP that has a good reputation on managing spammers - using
RBL services like spamhaus is a good resource for this. It's not a perfect
solution... as a company we ( as in my primary contract ) get blacklisted by
the agressive RBLs like sorbs about once a year, and we sell anti-spam
solutions!!!

After a lot of investigation, I eventually found out that Tusker is the company
that owns the SP that you use. Just in case anyone else was as confused is I
was by this comment.
