We join you in your agreement that Google is not completely open as
Google themselves will state this plainly (i.e., a lot more than honey
comb).

Furthermore, I was not saying people should stop using android.  To
the contrary, I was saying that M$ threatening phone OEMs with patent
infringement is not going to keep me from using a Linux based phone,
especially when you consider the alternatives.
