I think this is more of a calculated decision on both sides. Google is fully able and willing to play the legal games that MS does. Like filing lawsuits in numerous countries at the same time. This is a techno coldwar. We just have to wait for one of the giants to fall.
I've yet to find an Android device that didn't drive me crazy and I really want to find one. I had hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Player 4/5. IMO the interfaces are crap. Especially the keyboards. Even after tweaking the hell out of them with modded rom's and etc. I shouldn't have to buy a $15 software keyboard addon... that still sucks. Just like Android there are plenty of things to rag on Apple about, but they do run a tight ship. Quality control is high. I don't understand why more companies don't copy Apple. Take Samsung for example... http://www.minimallyminimal.com/journal/2011/11/16/coffee-time-market-share-vs-profit.html if they would just quit making 50 crappy devices and focus on 1 good one... -Chris On Wed, Nov 16, 2011 at 11:03 AM, Chris Penn <cantorm...@gmail.com> wrote: > The interesting thing about this is that M$ is not attacking Google > directly which puts the android creators in an awkward position.
