While some Android OEMs have made such dubious pacts with Microsoft,
I believe there are others who have not.

If someone can find a list or chart of Android OEMs who have and have not
entered patent agreements with MS, please share a link, thanks in advance.
(Thanks Chris P for the article links that give the current list;
a resource that gets updated would be ideal.)

For an example suddenly of interest to me, Polaroid is not listed in those
articles.  (Phew - my wife just bought a PTAB7200.)

I would rather recommend Android over one of the
more-proprietary mobile OS-s.
And yes, I would rather recommend Android from a freedom-defending OEM
than from a FUD accomplice.
