I doubt that very much, it's possible they only licensed the
Valkyries, but if it were true, I would say it's their decision not
external constrains.  My immediate assumption is that the demand
doesn't justify the investment.  But it's probably more complicated
than that.  Hasegawa really hasn't demonstrated they can do decent
mecha.  I still think Bandai is undisputed king of mecha kits.
Hasegawa has only one or two Battroid kits that, I understand, were
uninspiring.

On top of that the only new non Valkyrie kits/toys that have been released
in the last decade are the SDF-1 and the Queadluun Raus.  On top of that the
Destroids don't have the benefit of being able to reuse the designs like the
Valkyries have.  I love the Queadluun Rau design and would've picked one up
in a heartbeat except I really don't like the movie color schemes.  IF they
released a classic TV green version I would buy it immediately.
