While alternative proposals are certainly a valid undertaking, please don't
write off the DNSO just because there are a few vociferous people in it
whose approach lacks a certain, shall we say, respect for the higher values.
There are also many very conscientious people.

In any case, nothing can be decided in the DNSO.org without the participants
from the meetings, and they are actually a very intelligent and
conscientious group of people. There is no large faction among them, except
perhaps for the ccTLD registrars, and even among these there isn't much
consensus of opinion.

So please don't think that anyone who's speaking out for the DNSO.org on
these lists is speaking for anything more than themselves and perhaps their
small faction. The DNSO.org has an identity made up of its world-wide
participants, most of whom simply aren't on these lists.
