Hey Andrew, I've had pretty good luck with my little on-board Soniel charger. I have a 48v Etek Honda Rebel conversion (EV album #914), been using it for two trouble-free years. Thunderstruck carries 12 v Soniel chargers for about 50 bucks and they weigh about 3/4 pound. They only put out about 3 amps but I think slow charging with a Soniel will allow your batteries to last alot longer. My new bike is 72 v D&D SepEx and I will be using 6 ea 12 v Soniel chargers on-board. My EVREBEL is always plugged in when I'm not riding it and it has never let me down. I need to get some 12v chargers for my KZ750 conversion. The system voltage is 72 volts so I'll need 6 of them, and would really like it if they are small enough to fit on board. My zivan in combination with PowerCheq units is just not working well enough, and usually one battery goes above 15v and gets hot before the other batters come up completely in charge. Does anyone have any recommendations? Regards, Andrew
