Paul, can you give a little more detail? Which Schauer did you use, and were they reliable?
I like the looks of the 12v 5amp one here: http://www.battery-chargers.com/catalog/22.pdf David, I'm not so sure about a Vectra, as they don't list thorough specs on the site. Though, they would be easy to get, and I do like the looks of a couple of them: http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGuide/CategoryOverview.aspx?cPath=4010.4013I have one that I may do some testing on, but I'm really looking for something smaller that I can fit on my bike, and the 2 amp one just won't cut it. Bob, ya I was really just about to buy 6 Soneils, but than I happen to glance at their charging algorithm which holds the voltage at 14.4v (2.4 vpc) only until the current tapers to 1/2 of the constant current. This is not low enough unless I get a really small model like 1 amp. My battery spec sheet charging graph indicates that the voltage should be held at 14.4-15v until the current tapers to .35 amps. See here: http://visforvoltage.org/forum/2935-soneil-charging-curves-are-incorrect-agms Seth, Thanks for the offer, but I'm pretty set on getting 12v chargers. You might want to post your chargers in the "Community Marketplace"-->"Sell" forum at the V forums: visforvoltage.org. Thanks for all the suggestions, Andrew in Albuquerque, NM
