DC. It's using a Kostov motor, with an Auburn Scientific controller. It was
designed to be a high-performance EV.

Anyway, your setup at 120v for a bus will probably work fine. I'm sourcing
some components for the civic and found that Trojan is now making AGMs which
can be gotten fairly cheaply (atleast by todays lead-acid prices).
