I have been devouring the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson... The premise is about a group/flock of kids who have had genetic alterations (against their wills) part bird plus other "gifts" --and are on the run --- it sounds weird when I write this, but the book(s) are good reads!! Kids are hooked on the books, too!! ANyone else???
