Opener is neither a virus nor a worm. It is a script that must be
manually executed. (It could also be executed by other malicious
software.) The anti-virus companies tried to scare the public,
misrepresented the nature of Opener, and greatly exaggerated the dangers
of it. Those companies were dishonest and have lost many potential
customers because of it.
I too would like to see a more secure LittleSnitch. I'm not trying to
suggest that LittleSnitch or OS X are impervious to attack, but you're
not helping your cause by claiming things are worse than they are.
