You guys are harshing my mellow, man. Here in Washington, NC we ain't got no stinkin crime. Here in the marina/yard, nothing gets stolen and nothing is locked-up. Everybody says hello - everybody.
In the early 90's, Fells Point was a delight. One lunchtime, I ran into Gov. Schaeffer when he was going into the same coffee shop. I have trouble believing that Fells Point has lost its charm. Those cobblestone streets are worth a side trip. Maybe the alert tug and fuel barge support the hospital ship Comfort will let you tie alongside. The restaurants in the old sections of the city are definitely superb.
