Hi there, its Peter here. Dont worry the rest of your Levy Letter should be winging its way to you shortly, but in the meantime I need your help with a story that were investigating today. There was the highly anticipated Who concert at the KC Stadium at the weekend. And there have been claims of massive losses after it and fears that perhaps Hull isnt a big enough city to host these big stadium concerts.
Well, I want to hear from you on this one. Were you at the concert on Saturday? What did you think to it? Ive had loads of emails about this. Some people have been saying it was great and some saying it wasnt quite a few people with very different points of view. Many people were sad that it might be the last time that we have a big concert in Hull. Let me just read you this one from Phil in Scotter. He says, I was at the KC Stadium for The Who concert and was surprised by a few things. Firstly the stadium appeared to be half empty. Funny that as an attempt by my brother-in-law to purchase tickets for this event on the KC website stated that there were no tickets available. Ive seen The Who three times in the last four years and the previous times have been sold out in Liverpool and Birmingham. Going back to the Hull concert, the stewards, although plentiful, were ineffective in stopping overenthusiastic fans throwing glass bottles into the crowd. I felt most sorry because The Who must have been gutted at the showing and may decide not to grace this area again, which is a ! great shame. In fact I feel that we let them down. So there you are. Strong words from Phil. A lot of people have got strong comments on The Who concert. Thank you for all of those. So as I say, get in touch with me as soon as you can about The Who concert in Hull. As Phil said were there a lot of empty places in the arena or did you try and get tickets and were told that it was sold out? Get in touch straightaway. Either email me at the usual address of [EMAIL PROTECTED] or ring through to our producer, Paul Lead on 01482 314501. Get in touch as soon as you can!
