Yes indeed.

I haven't spoken to "industry leaders" like Scott Lamberton and I am
not "a senior instructor of some standing with the leading commercial
training provider for LPI preparation here in Germany" like Anselm :^)
But on thursday I could ask the pupils in the evening school I am
preparing for 101 (some of them jobless and therefore with little money)
what they think about reducing the validity from 10 to 5 years.
Is someone interested in it? Presumably not.
