Agree that Pearson Vue is the worst exam provider. Their online testing is the
worst. Testing at a test center is not as bad. I tried to schedule a test with
them recently. They were unable to load the test for me. They actually removed
my profile with the vendor and created a new on for me. After I contacted the
vendor multiple times, they were able to restore my profile. I had to call
them many times, wasted so much of my time, was disconnected so many times,
never got any call back. No support person ever took any notes or had any idea
why I was calling. The last time, after 6weeks of 6 failed attempts to load an
exam they rejected my drivers license id because they said the picture was not
clear enough. The experience I had with Pearson was the worse experience I have
ever had with trying to take an exam.
7to8 years ago they were not that bad. Currently the third world call center
they have is basically incompetent.
If you do have to take an exam with Pearson Vue is - GO TO A TEST CENTER!
Schedule it yourself on the website.
If going to a test center is not possible then try to find a different test
provider. -or else you will be put through a gauntlet of misery and pain.

"One can take other Linux certification programs using Linux."

I think this is the minimum required to any one that want to pass in a LPI's

There is at least another problem with Pearson Vue: to pass a remote
exam you need to run windows or Mac. That's a big problem to me and, I
guess, to a lot of people who don't want to install these OS on their
computer.

One can take other Linux certification programs using Linux.

Have a nice week-end,

Eric
