BIG YES ON BILINGUAL, as it seems we're figuring out. *) We're not trying to hurt people with language, we're trying to help them. Else, why pay the money to do the work?
I'm telling LionBridge, our translation company, to go bilingual as needed, and we can always take it out later if we need to. We can't help the types of questions and answers we're working with...but we're learning how to be better at writing items all the time for multicultural audiences, so I think we're keeping this in mind for future reference.

I'd say no.
The use of FITB should be restricted to file names, comands, and similar standardized LSB stuff.
We should avoid to have localized output of commands filled in.
I agree. I think it complicates the scoring unnecessarily as well.
