I think it would be a great idea to have a certification on all of these categories. Maybe it would be an idea to gather some of these into one certification (ex: Apache + PosgreSQL and Perl + Python + PHP)?

Subject: [lpi-examdev] OSS developer certs anyone?
Hi everyone,
I was at OSCON earlier this year where I met a bunch of people from Perl, Apache, PHP, Python, PostgreSQL camps that were interested in the idea of OSS developer certs. Even through LPI ;)
Some other people are mentioning "LAMP" certs, too. Which I would view as a "get a combination of 'certs' from the L, A, M & P categories" for a super-cert. But maybe that isn't that case.
So here's my main question for everyone on this list. Is this something that you want to discuss here and should I invite everyone from OSCON to join this list? Or should I ask for a lpi-developercert list and kinda, sorta keep this an 'admin' cert list?
Anyone with a "we don't need no stinkin' developer certs" is welcome to voice their opinions, too.
Regards,
