Mike, who pulled out? No one as far as I know.
I imagine everyone runs cacti or mrtg or whatever to monitor their stats
on the IX. Isn't that enough for those who need to convince management?

Kurup...instead of going back and forth about who pulled  out and who did not, take a stroll to the IX. the state itself leaves a lot to be desired.

it has become the dumping grounds for broken bulbs and a store for flourescent tube lights. its a health hazard in itself to enter the room....imagine the state the routers must be in.

its not the pipe to the IX that is a problem....may be a congestion due to poorly managed routes...but the physical state of the IX itself is a mess....that meeting that badru called for should be held and fast if this IX is to remain.

I am sure Mark was referring to the congestion on the individual pipes
each peer has to the IX, not congestion at the IX itself.
Some peers have very measly pipes which often get saturated.

i dont think its the saturation of individual pipes either.....unless you are starving your IX of bandwidth....this should not be a problem.

Mike
