Rasmus was the keynote speaker i mentioned in my previous email, and in his 
new company they are using http://kohanaframework.org/ which he said, he 
liked.

(His keynote was a lot of fun, as he showed all the stuff Drupal could do to 
improve performance by just changing the php, or by rewriting part of drupal 
in C++ :-)

I think there is a video somewhere if you are interested in seeing it.
