Hi, I wasn't meaning free as in not paid for, I was meaning Free as in
the way open source software is free. I have nothing against paying
for Free software, and the Free software foundation actively
encourages developers to charge for the Free software they develop.

OS X was based on BSD Unix, not on Linux. If OS X or OS had any Linux
code in them Apple would have to release the source code for it.
