I am surprised VSAT this convo is still going on. There is simply no comparison price wise. I am able to get 20Mbps down and 10Mbps up for approx $80 because copper and fiber are that much cheaper. Even with intentional or malicious damage to the fiber that terminates at Mombasa, the cost is still way cheaper than sending somebody to replace the batteries in your Satellite.
