It does break stuff :-(
But I realised what I did wrong and here is a revised patch
that shouldn't break stuff anymore. You'll have to backout the
first patch and then apply this one. (patch -R ...)
What broke?
LyXCode in a figure float was what I spotted.
This revised patch only skips '\n's in a float if the
current or net paragraph is a table.
I'm pretty sure this version should be safe but I'd appreciate
it if others could try some testing as I'd really like to get this
into 0.12.1. (It is a bugfix, honest, fixes minipages in floats
and minipages with subfigures).
