Sculpteo is like OSHPark in that if you make any change to an object,
you can't update the object on the site (you can edit the description,
but not the actual item), you have to create a new entry, which makes a
new link, and the old link breaks because you don't want to leave it up
once it's obsolete.
On Thingiverse and Shapeways you can update existing items by uploading
new files, while the link to the entry on the site stays the same.
So I maintain the current links on both tandy.wiki and github. Always go
there to get the current links to other sites.

If I discover some new service provider in the future, that's where it
would get documented too.
Suggestion for Sculpteo, just under the 3d viewer at the top of the
"Material" section, over to the right click on "Nylon PA12 (Grey)"
It looks better than the white nylon (to me).

Thanks for the hint with that calibration object. That's exactly
the kind of thing I don't know yet.
I will avoid getting into actual Cura settings here :)
I did manage to figure out how to get Sculpteo set up with a
sharable purchase link like Shapeways. They have a very similar
set of material, color, and quality options like Shapeways, except
they have offices all over the world.

If the layers delaminate, the hot end temp is too low.
If the bridging sags, the hot end temp is too high, or you
don’t have sufficient cooling on the job.
If you see ‘ripples’ in the vertical sides, the drive belts
need tightening, or tolerances on the X/Y axis are sloppy.
If you see stringing, try more retraction.
Shapeways may be better if you are in the US, but where’s the
fun and satisfaction compared to printing your own creations 😊

Astonishingly, I was just able to print a functional carrier
in PLA on a Creality CR-10S. (A very common home $400 fdm
printer from a year ago.)
I got the printer last year but only opened the box a couple
days ago and this is only my 3rd attempt to print anything at all.
The carrier looked like crap on the print bed, but after a
little manual clean-up, it turned out to actually work!
So, these things can be printed at home after all.
