What do we call the connector that goes into the model 100 printer port?
Technically just "rectangular connector" followed by a list of the basic specs: female, polarized or polarization bump or polarization key, 26 pin or 2x13 pin or 13x2 pin, and prefferrably with strain relief, but commonly/colloquially "IDC 26 pin female"
IDC really means "insulation displacement connector" which really has to do with the way the cable is crimped onto little blades that cut through the insulation, and there are all kinds of different connectors that have IDC ribbon cable crimps on the back.
But if you're searching on ebay or just in general, they're most often listed with IDC in the title, so that's what to search for.
