If youre looking for an inkjet printer I would only recommend Canon
printers. Thats for four main reasons, three of which are applicable to
you:
1. In my experience their drivers are the least problematic.
2. They have a separate, but replaceable, head assembly. Epson printers have
non-replaceable heads so eventually the printers wear out after a certain
amount of use, and with HP printers the heads are part of the cartridges.
The HP approach is OK but their drivers are always cr*p.
3. They are generally very solidly built and very reliable in the long term.
4. This doesn't apply to you, but their colour quality is exceptional,
particularly when you bear in mind their print speed.
The other option you should consider is a laser printer. They are cheaper to
run, much faster, better quality, and more reliable than inkjets. The only
disadvantage (that doesn't apply to you from your posting) is that they're
black and white only (at a budget price-point).
