I think I should qualify this by adding that this does not apply to all Epson printers. Both ours have replaceable heads but they are so ridiculously expensive they might just as well be non replaceable!
Did I not read that Canon were scaling back their Apple support for future consumer printers? Perhaps they have had a change of heart. Our only Canon printer is fine but uses a huge amount of ink and so costs much more in use than the Epsons. But it is older.
