Hi Dan

The install and archive option for Jaguar works beautifully, doesn't  
it?  After doing that, if you continue to have problems, I would be  
inclined to think some of your user preferences are the source of the  
problem as those are archived during the process.

Obviously, you can get rid of this pesky folder via command line in  
terminal but I'm not unix savvy, nor do I ever want to be.  Second  
choice is to log in as root and delete it.  Another great choice is to  
use BatChmod which can be found here:
