Jimmy, I don't want to harp on a comatose equine carcass here, but I think
that is the very statement that has fueled the earlier strong statement by
Dnes Bogsnyi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

To wit, while your argument seems sound on the surface, it is undermined by
the very fact WinIE has no problem with this functionality - so, what does
that tell you about the differences between Mac and Win users, or at least
what does that tell us about your impression of those two users.

The way I see it, but platforms/demographics endeavor to user their browsers
in identical fashions, while only one platform *can* do so. I have to
honestly admit that I sometimes don't blame it if developers do not consider
the Mac as worth their effort to support for certain sites, if the browser
developers don't consider it worth to support a feature that appears to be
supported in almost all other shipping and finished browsers.

And, as I pointed out, the reasoning behind the assumption that this number
is very small is flawed in such a way that there really aren't accurate
numbers to support it - those people who know, simply use other browsers.
Those who don't buy into the propaganda that IE for Mac, or even the Mac
platform, is simply flawed, and thus take their best friend's brother's
gardener's cousin's advice and buy a Wintel PC - granted, that makes no
difference to Microsoft, but it will, in the long run, make a difference to
the MBU based on simple economics.

Just something to consider, albeit I am sure the above will make absolutely
no difference (not a gripe, just an observation).

Harry
