For the records: at the end of [wiki:UserDocs/WPA_PSK_on_Both_Ends] there
is a note, saying that the "ioctl[unknown???]" messages might indicate
that aes.o needs to be loaded. That's not related to this bug, however,
since the problem goes away by simply removing the AP VAP from the bridge
without changing anything else.
