Hi, well i tried the easiest thing first and attempted to connect to th AP
with a different machine and got a completely different error.
this second machine is also running XP SP2 and it began the process and
managed to get much further along than the previous machine. give that i
no longer get the

error, and that both machines are running under the same settings, it
leads me to beleive that it is a hardware/driver issue with the first
machine. However, the second machine also gave me an error but at least
it gave me more of an informative dump than the first. following is that
