Santa I know you are trying to have a rest, but there of some of us who just have to have your attention. So listen up! A person known to us thinks he has found one of your school scrap-books, which show how you planned your trips. We know that is not amazing in itself, but it has been suggested that you have drawn your map in your book....perhaps even traced it....then left it for some time. Then you came back and drew over your original sketch with a thicker nibbed pen (or was that thinker) , and a different ink. What were you trying to do? Make it look prettier? Disguise what you were really up to? Makes us wonder if you really went to all the places you claimed on your map...are there children who really didn't get a visit? Were you pretending you went to places you could not have possibly known about? Did you have GPS before we even learnt about it? Or were you just trying to impress the teacher? While you continue to confuse some of our friends, others, like me, remember The Moody Blues song - Nights in White Satin from 1967 Cold hearted orb That rules the night Removes the colours >From our sight Red is grey and Yellow white But we decide Which is right And Which is an Illusion So Santa, are you the old wise one, or should we just wait till we are older and wiser and understand why you weave the stories you weave? PS Thanks for the old paper and ink...what the hell am i going to do with it? Michael
