I take it all back... both these sites eventually point to
Geocomm.com.
Perhaps we (the GIS internet community) ought to set up a non-profit
clearinghouse to provide these data as an additional alternative.
Are there enough sites with extra capacity so that we could carry
this load safely and economically across a distributed network?
Surely there are enough universities and state organizations that
could handle their local area?
