Why the USGS did this is beyond me -- The GIS
DataDepot obviously doesn't have the capacity to
handle this product.
I mean is the USGS in the business of offloading its
data to private companies to give away for free?
I don't understand this -- Maybe the DataDepot could
work on its interface (allow for multiple downloads,
faster downloads, etc..) and the USGS could let us
know the purpose of letting the DataDepot handle the
distribution of SDTS DEMs. Also -- what about the
other SDTS products (DLGs)? Are they going to the
DataDepot also --
