Has anyone found a 3rd party grid control (for VB) that can display MapInfo
Transportation symbols? It
should be able to display them properly with the correct point size, and all the extra
bits, like border, halo,
drop shadow, etc. I want each row to have vessel name, then the symbol, then speed,
.......
Does anyone know the trick to displaying a MapInfo transportation symbols in a VB
dialog box, similar to
what has been done in the symbol picker with MapBasic? Again, I'd want to see the
border, halo, etc. I'd
even go for a third party control if necessary. Basically I want to duplicate the
functions of the MapBasic
symbol picker in a VB integrated application. Reading the archives it might be
possible to duplicate this by
running an MBX I guess, but I'd rather go VB all the way if I can.
