Mal,

Have you seen Graticule.MBX (its on the MapInfo-L ftp site...) ???

"This is an application and MapBasic source code to add dynamic graticules
(grid lines) to MapInfo map windows. The graticule will redraw (including
labels) as you zoom in and out and pan and change projection. Some
limitations to projections and coordinate systems." Contributed by Mark
Ogilvie.

This is the most fantastic grid-making application I have yet seen. Check it
out!!!!

> Wouldn't it be nice if ... gridmakr.mbx worked like this:
> 1. Select rectangle to mark boundaries of area to be gridded
> 2. Specify start and finish eastings and northings (or lats and longs)
> 3. Specify grid intervals
> 4. Specify labels
> 5. Go
> The result ... a labelled grid that extends to the boundaries of the
> specified area and not beyond. Beautiful.
