Nope Charlie, the question stands : should a discussion among marxists seriously be based on Nyt’s smearing of Xi (or whomever else) instead of debating more serious structural issues regarding that country? Role of SOEs, forms of property (yes, there are many) and so on seem to me aspects more worth talking about. VG
