But if Bhaskar Sunkara, to use my example, or for that matter anyone else associated with the DP, asked you to help provide marshalling and other services and to coordinate your activities with the main body of the demonstration, including the manner in which to handle confrontations with the fascists and the cops, would you not agree to do so? As you know, the independent and counter-productive actions of young anarchists, often encouraged by undercover provocateurs, has always been a concern for protest organizers, for Marxists as well as liberals. Assuming you share the general disapproval of such violent freelancing by. the Black bloc and Antifa, I expect you would agree to coordinate your activities with the organizers of the demo to ensure a peaceful and disciplined march or a disciplined collective defence of it if attacked.
