Chris, I completely agree with your last paragraph.
I don't think that what is being suggested for this ticket
(navigation/rewording change) makes users less able to tell that 'they are
scheduling a recording to happen and *then a series of processes will run*'
than with the current navigation (Episodes tab separate from Recordings tab).
Given that you didn't vote a -1 on my #proposal to make this change, I'm
assuming that you're okay with it (but that we should aim to have more
documentation that fully explains the mapping.)
