We can tell BOSS about a new vote coming in, but then BOSS should also be able to tell us current votes or notify when a new vote arrived through an other channel, so all other 'clients' can sync their own data (if they wanted to do so). I see no problem that a web service receives all the votes as long as it supports an open standard. How BOSS would implement a public interface for getting votes etc? > I've been somewhat absent from c.OBS and Apps recently but hope to > rectify that :) > Yeah, this idea should have popped up months ago, but this is software it just "happens" and thus anything can happen at any time ;) Btw. today's meeting won't be a good one to make a decision on this, since key people will be away. We can of course talk about it.. > David > Cheers, ferenc [1] http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/open-collaboration-services#COMMENTS _______________________________________________ MeeGo-community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-community http://wiki.meego.com/Mailing_list_guidelines
