Datto Enthusiasts.

There has been a lot of discussion re different engine
conversions, types, etc, etc.

The FJ series has a lot of "airplay" of late and it
seems the L20 series has been placed on the
backburner, in all probability that is where it may
well belong some will say.

But for those of us who have to use a L20 untill
funds/time become available to build/fit a
SR/FJ/Z18/CA series, what can we do to the L20 to make
it a little more competative and yet useable ????

With ULP costing an arm and a leg, leaded on the way
out and the new fuel not performing as well as
expected, I guess the initial way to go is to do some
head work to run on Unleaded. Where to from here ??

>From experience I know a heavilly worked L20 is not
"street friendy" ie. with using a car as a "Daily" you
want it to be drivable in all sorts of traffic
conditions, have reasonable fuel economy and yes we
are all "rev heads" deep down so we want some punch
from time to time.

What is considered the "best all round" L20 setup ????

Now this should provoke some interest.. chuckle
