Not sure there's a correct answer on this one - everyone's got their own idea
of 'suitable compromise'.

FWIW, I'm running L20b +1mm, hepolite pistons, all the usual bottom end balancing,
blueprinting etc., 38.5cc closed chamber head approximately ported to SSS spec,
standard valves, L20b ( SSS ) cam, 38mm SUs, extractors & 2.25" mandrel 'zorst,
electronic ignition, 10.6:1 squeeze ratio ( measured ). Nothing exotic but screwed
together right.

Nothing over 5500, 700rpm idle, torque city ! - my personal idea of a 'very
streetable' L20b. Compression is a bit high, so fouls plugs in traffic especially
with LRP, and the 'zorst is too loud for a cruiser.
