Haa Haa as I am only 27 Terry I don't really know about the olden days. :O)
But yes I have used thermal wrap in the past couple of years and it did the job it was
supposed to do' we my mates and I were building a drag pannel van up and we had a
problem with the master cylinder overheating from the heat coming from the
exhaust(which cooked/incinerated the brake fluid) so we wrapped the extractors and
brake lines and problem solvered.
