There are definately pro's and con's for each. Having not driven a car with
a CA I'm probably biased, but I personally like the FJ and have just done
the conversion in my '1600. It makes bullsh*t amounts of power, comes on
very hard and fast from ~3500. Plenty of spares for the FJ are available
and a large amount are now non-genuine, so are cheaper. Plenty of knowledge
around for the FJ (I dare say for the CA too, but I dunno about it). Bloody
strong bottom end. True, good ones are getting harder to find, but I found
one without too much trouble.
