I've lost touch with your datto(s), sob is old blue dead? yellow is nearly
regd. btw I've not heard of Pittsworth - where is it and what sort of sprint
event (dirt or bitu) and which car will you drive in the event? has to be
old blue doesn't it?

yes he's the one.. I actually coach him in sailing and i guess due to my
influence he bought a datto.. and he loves it!!
He borrowed another x-member from a local who had had the misfortune to roll
his car on the friday... one mans misfortune etc etc
he still got 4 runs for the weekend so he was pretty happy.
I haven't seen the damaged x-member but i can't wait...
I have an entry in for the Pittsworth Sprints on 2nd and 3rd of Sept and
Paul has just freshened up my 2.0L with rings and a NEW piston.. It was
sposed to be just rings but when we pulled it apart we found #3 piston had
broken the ring land ..in between
the 2nd comp ring and the oil ring .. Repco were really slack getting me the
new piston.. Man has that place changed over the years!!
The yellow car is now up and running and is so good to drive. As soon as the
rings are bedded in and the oil is changed ... Look out!!
