My
solution to this issue would be
Mitsubishi Magna filter to Cavity filter to Holley
Red ( Pre Pump ) to swirl pot to EFI Pump ( If you had the money Bosch Motor
Sport, however you will achieve similar flow rates if you go to your local
Volvo wreckers source one of the old fuel injection pumps out of a 240GL I
think , they flow great) into 5/16 fuel lines, optional rising rate fuel
regulator or if you have an after market ecu then a standard could suffice
but the numbers are large.
You will have all the fuel pressure you
need.
The big saving is in the volvo
pump.
Jim
No problem.
My next question
regarding my Project Nissan Mission..
It appears that I
require a EFI fuel pump to deliver something line 40-60psi of fuel through
the fuel rail. I assume that the bluebird pump is inadequate for the task.
So I am tossing around several options.
1. Rip the
bluebird fuel lines out and stick in bigger & better ones, replace
existing pump with a EFI pump.
or
2. Leave it all
there, install a surge tank in the engine bay to take about 1 litre of
fuel from the standard pump, and install an auxillary pump which is
capable of delivering from the surge tank.
I already own the
auxillary pump so that is looking like to me to be a better option. I am
on a real tight budget now, I have spent my engine-swap budget already so
I can't afford much more...
What do you think
is my best option?
Geordie,
Yes I did thank you
heaps. I have been lax in not sending you a thanks for that (Insert the
word Johnny H has so much trouble with)**
I was pretty impressed with
some of the add ins as well.
Once again thanks
Geordie.
Cheers
Feral Errol
