Chris so sorry to hear of your sad loss. I can tell your pretty pissed off
by the whole bad experience. Dont get too pissed off by the cops, they are
only trying to do what they think is a good job, sometimes it doesnt look
that way to the victim, who really doesnt need the hassle.
Hope you get the problems resolved. Keep us informed on what happens, as
your bad experience could at least have valuable lessons for all us owners
of fine Datsun vehicles (which are obviously in demand even by uncivilised
scumbags).
Your experience reinforces my desire to fit anti theft equipment. May be we
should pool our knowledge on this topic. Who does what to protect their
valuable 1600 - my latest toy has a secret ignition cut out switch, but this
only delays a car thief by a couple of minutes.
