The CA18 and SR20 are T2 series turbos while the T3 was found on 6cyl 
nissans and will flow easier.  If you are looking for 6-10PSI then the T2 
series will be fine but if you want cool air at 12-15PSI then you will need 
to go to a T3 as the T2 will start to become too inefficient.  Also the 
later SR20 turbo (T28) is better than the CA18 turbo.  The RB20DET have T3 
turbos, but the SR20DET have T28's (both 2 Litre motors).  There is much 
more room to move with the T3.
