The guy who did the A12 turbo custom job used a weber DGV.  He had problems
getting enough fuel on boost from his fuel pump, which was a high pressure with
rising regulator.

I have seen these in melbourne trading post for under $100 a couple of times.

if you modify the turbo so it doens't produce as much boost, then look for a
better carb, but then again, the intake mods you need to do to get it sealed
from the turbo to manifold would need to be done again..
